MALCFEST
We are looking forward to lighting Malcfest again this year (2007). Malcfest is a seriously mindblowing event in Catford (London) spanning four days with over fifty bands and presentations, the musical feast takes place at the beginning of September.
Primarily a two stage/arena event, one stage in the studio of Orange and Blue Music and an open air stage, outside of course. Our lighting for inside is primarily PAR 56s and LED 64s with three 150w discharge scanners for a bit of fun. Outside we dress the entire site not just the stage. On the stage there are a variety of acts ranging from single performers right through to a 21 piece orchestra, so a wide coverage is needed, mostly PAR 56s supported by 500w profiles and 575w Studio Beams. We add to the festival's warm and friendly atmosphere by adorning the trees and garden with Ropelights and coloured Egg Strobes, numerous PAR 36s, Bubbles and UV. Our warm thanks to Malcolm and Gemma together with all their crew (particularly Bass) for repeatedly inviting us to this awsome event. A truly life-changing experience.
